Design Notes

In the natural E.Coli system CsrA is an important gene, the product of which inhibits many genes responsible for glycogen formation, gluconeogenesis, and biofilm formation. During a quorum sensing event, it is in turn inhibited by CsrB, thus allowing biofilm formation.
